i was in Brentwood (Queen Vic) for the game today. I was with some people close to AC They told me he s on his way out of the club. Not to Newcastle because certain people there don't want him back in the city. He's going to the Midlands apparently. My money's on Stoke.

I know a couple of the Vic locals, principally flighty who's been banned from the rest of Brentwood. With the best will in the world id be surprised if Carroll's mates went out there.

My impression of Brentwood based on passing through rather than living there, was that it was always fairly prosperous and not pound shop land.

i lived in brentwood from 2004-07 and it wasnt full of charity and pound shops. Well a few charity shops, peter the pleater and that crap chinese around the back of the high street but still generally good.

Were it not for Towie,Brentwood would be another shit town full of pound shops and charity shops.Yes,its a tad embarassing with the Sugar Hut rubbish but the place is buzzing (just drove through the High Street) and its a great area to live in,anyone who thinks different has obviously not been here for a while or prefers the so called "trendy" shit holes of East London.

The Vic Arms, thats right. I used to drink in there 30 years ago, long before Carroll was born. They sold a perfect pint of Abbot Ale.

The pub is called The Victoria Arms not the Queen Vic. I don't like Towie but it has been good, generally, for Brentwood which has gone from being England's most boring town (about 10 years ago) to a thriving and vibrant destination place with property prices to match (hooray for that!)
